NEW SHIPPING CHARGES AS OF 1ST JULY 2023 – due to a huge increase in costs past on to us from our couriers, we have had to implement a Rural Charge as of 1st July.  Please make sure your post code is correct as will will need to hold back orders with incorrect post codes until payment for rural costs have been made. To get around this rural charge, you can choose to send to your workplace or another urban address instead.
We have done everything we can to keep this cost down but it has now become unprofitable to send items to rural addresses without a contribution.  Most rural ticket prices far exceed the portion you pay to us, so we are covering the rest of the cost ourselves.

All items are sent via tracked courier, you should receive an automated tracking email once your parcel has been dispatched. Please check in with your tracking information regularly to monitor your parcels progress, please contact us if you think there may be any problems occurring with delivery.
Orders are dispatched same day if received before 11am – on an overnight service to North Island CBD areas and 2-day service to South Island urban areas (small items are put in a overnight satchel).  Please allow an extra 1-2 working days for residential areas and an extra 2-5 working days for rural and some outer-lying residential addresses.  BYK bikes need to be assembled before dispatch so will usually be dispatched the next day instead.
If you would like your parcel arrives to you as fast as possible we suggest using a CBD business address as these addresses are first priority for courier runs.

RECENT DELIVERY DELAYS – please note some Post Haste depots have staff shortages, please expect delays in some areas.  Post Haste update their website dashboard daily to show which depots have limited staff and expected delays.  Please check in at this link before contacting us about your parcel  POST HASTE NETWORK STATUS

Please note if you think your parcel is delayed, we can send a query alert to the affected depot. Some couriers are not delivering to residential areas until weekends and we find the parcels tend to arrive then.  The courier we use are a very efficient courier and working extremly hard to get parcels delivered promptly.  Businesses are always prioritised so you may find shipping to your place of work is faster.  In the 8+ years we have been using this courier, we have less than 0.0027% claims for lost parcels.  If you experience delays, please hold tight, we are confident your parcel will arrive to you in due course. 

All our deliveries are signature-on-delivery – please write in the comments if you would like your parcel left at your door. Some courier drivers may leave your parcel without a signature, depending on their local area. We cannot control this but all parcels are tracked so you can monitor its delivery

Please note: items such as CO2, lubricants and cleaning aerosols may have shipping delays due to their class as a dangerous good. We may not be able to deliver dangerous goods to certain rural addresses. We will email you if we think your order will be effected.

We cannot ship any items to New Zealand PO Boxes, please supply a physical delivery address

We offer $25 untracked parcel and $49 international courier options, Post Box is ok.  Most items should be delivered within 6-10 days (excluding customs delays). You may experience customs delays or be charged taxes when the goods enter the country. We are unable to ship to Australia C02, lubricants, aerosols, some liquids and some products containing certain types of batteries, we will contact you if we think your purchase may be affected by these restrictions.
Shimano Products – sorry we are unable to send Shimano products to Australia, we will refund any orders that come through.
Untracked Shipping is sent at buyers risk, we will do or best to help you locate lost parcels but are not responsible for your loss. Some smaller satchel parcels may be automatically upgraded to tracked if cost allows, and at the descretion of Cycle Nation.

We can usually ship to most other countries, please contact us for a shipping quote.  Sorry we cannot send Shimano items outside of New Zealand.

PARTS AND ACCESSORIES – Some items may have slight colour and logo variances than those advertised. We source our images from our suppliers and do our best to advise of any differences, we are happy to exchange your item if the colour is not what you expected.

BIKE SHIPPING – we DO NOT sell bikes un-assembled straight from the suppliers box! Our bike shipping can sometimes take a bit longer as our mechanics will build the bike, test it and partially disassemble the bike before shipping it to you. Bikes come 95% assembled, with just handle bars and pedals, and sometimes the wheels to reattach (please note some bikes do not include pedals with purchase). We will not sell bikes un-built to quicken shipping times. All gears and brakes will be assembled and tested before we send it to you. We include an instruction manual to help you re-assemble your bike, please email or call us if you need any assistance.

Please note some bikes and scooters may not be shipped in their original box.


TREK BIKES can be paid for online but must be collected from our store in Hawkes Bay. This is a Trek international policy standard we strictly adhere to. If you get a new Trek bike shipped to you from a NZ store, they are breaking Treks International Warranty Policy which voids your warranty. We will not break these rules to get you your bike quicker – please come in store to collect your new bike and be rewarded with a friendly smile, personalised service and help loading your new bike onto/in your car. We even have loan car racks and helmets to get you and your new bike home safely.
We can hand-deliver most Trek bikes within the Hawkes Bay region, please call to discuss.

SHIMANO PRODUCTS will not be sent overseas due to dealer restrictions.  Any items purchased will not be sent overseas and you will be refunded in full.
