PLEASE READ: Recently Couriers have updated their zones on delivery time frames for residential addresses.  Even though your address may be central within your town, it may be classed as residential zone – this means overnight delivery (South Island 2-day) is not guaranteed.  Please allow an extra day for residential zones.  You can use a CBD business address for priority delivery

WEST AUCKLAND – recently we have experienced delays in deliveries to West Auckland area.  We have corresponded with the courier company and there is no short-term fix.  Please contact us if you think your parcel may be delayed so we can log this with the company.  We apologise for this and are trying to find a courier company that can guarantee us better service to this area.

NEW ZEALAND:
All items are sent via tracked courier, you should receive an automated tracking email once your parcel has been dispatched. Please check in with your tracking information regularly to monitor your parcels progress, please contact us if you think there may be any problems occurring with delivery.

We offer FREE delivery on all New Zealand purchases*.  There is no minimum spend or rural surcharge.
Most items are dispatched same day if received before 1pm – on an overnight service to North Island CBD areas and 2-day service to South Island urban areas.  Please allow an extra day for residential areas and an extra 2-3 days for rural and some outer-lying residential addresses.
Sometimes your item may need to be dispatched from our supplier first, however you usually only adds an extra day onto your delivery.
If you would like to guarantee your parcel arrives to you as fast as possible we suggest using a CBD business address as these addresses are first priority for courier runs.

Please allow extra time for delivery over the Xmas/Easter/Labour weekend/Black Friday holidays

All our deliveries are signature-on-delivery – please write in the comments if you would like your parcel left at your door (at your risk).

Please note: items such as CO2, lubricants and cleaning aerosols may have shipping delays due to their class as a dangerous good. We may not be able to deliver to certain rural addresses. We will email you if we think your order will be effected.

We cannot ship any items to New Zealand PO Boxes, please supply a physical delivery address

AUSTRALIA:
We offer $25 untracked parcel and $48 international courier options, Post Box is ok.  Most items should be delivered within 6-10 days (excluding customs delays). You may experience customs delays or be charged taxes when the goods enter the country. We are unable to ship to Australia C02, lubricants, aerosols and some products containing certain batteries, we will contact you if we think your purchase may be affected by these restrictions.

FIJI, COOK ISLANDS:
We can usually ship to most mainland Fiji addresses and Cook Islands, please contact us for a shipping quote

PARTS AND ACCESSORIES – Some items may need to be assembled before dispatch or may need to be dispatched from our supplier first. We will do our best to contact you if any delays occur. Some items may have slight colour variances than those advertised. We source our images from our suppliers and do our best to advise of any differences, we are happy to exchange your item if the colour is not what you expected.

BIKE SHIPPING – we DO NOT sell bikes un-assembled straight from the suppliers box! Our shipping can sometimes take a bit longer as our mechanics will build the bike, test it and partially disassemble the bike before shipping it to you. Bikes come 95% assembled, with just handle bars and pedals, and sometimes the wheels to reattach (please note some bikes do not include pedals with purchase). We will not sell bikes un-built to quicken shipping times. All gears and brakes will be assembled and tested before we send it to you. We include an instruction manual to help you re-assemble your bike, please email or call us if you need any assistance.

Please note some bikes and scooters may not be shipped in their original box.

TREK BIKES can be paid for online but must be collected from our store. This is a Trek international policy standard we strictly adhere to. If you get a new Trek bike shipped to you from a NZ store, they are breaking Treks International Warranty Policy which voids your warranty. We will not break these rules to get you your bike quicker – please come in store to collect your new bike and be rewarded with a friendly smile, personalised service and help loading your new bike onto/in your car. We even have loan car racks and helmets to get you and your new bike home safely.

100% EYEWEAR can be paid for online but must be collected from our store. This is an international policy of 100% Eyewear.  If you can buy 100% Eyewear from an online store you may not be covered by warranty and/or the product may not be genuine.

RETURNS POLICY
Exchanges and Faulty Goods – The Consumer Guarantee Act and Fair Trading Act provide the basis for Cycle Nation’s returns policy. The product must be in a re-salable condition unless faulty or otherwise defective.

For change-of-mind returns, please send the product back to us in its original packaging with all tags attached within 14 days, for a store credit or swap. Products must be in original condition, with original box/packaging/cardboard backing and free of any marks, food smells, perfumes or deodorant. Our policy is not to refund for change-of-mind purchases, we can issue you a credit note for you to spend another time – store credit does not expire. The customer must cover their cost of returning the item back to Cycle Nation. We are unable to accept returns of clearance items unless covered under the Consumers Guarantees Act 1993. Any refund for change-of-mind purchases are not guaranteed and at the strict discretion of management of Cycle Nation.

We strongly advise you to check your product as soon as you receive it before removing any tags or labels. If you have any concerns with your item, please contact us first at sales@cyclenation.co.nz or on 06-877-6254 and we can advise you of the returns procedure.

WARRANTIES
All goods supplied by Cycle Nation are covered by the normal manufacturers’ warranty. This will differ between brands.

If you think an item has failed prematurely please email us to discuss details of the product and fault. Please note that certain products need to be returned to our suppliers, for inspection before an outcome can be determined and this may take up to 6 weeks to process. We endeavor to fast-track all warranty claims to the best of our ability.

Cycle Nation is not directly liable under any warranty. The benefit of the warranty passes directly from the manufacturer to the customer, however we will do our best to aid in the warranty claim process.

Where goods are subject to warranty, the customer is responsible for returning the item to Cycle Nation or the manufacturer (as provided by the warranty) and you may be responsible for additional costs including (but not limited to) freight.

Any warranty will be voided by damage to or misuse of the product or problems caused by inadequate packaging or storage.

Proof of purchase is required. Please keep your receipt in a safe place, we will check our sales system for your sale prior to accepting your claim. We will not accept warranty claims on behalf of other shops unless organised with the manufacturer.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Cyclenation. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.
Fair Trading Act 1986 The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
