Located conveniently in the Havelock North CBD, we have a large range of well-maintained hire bikes to suit your needs. From our store you can easily ride to the picturesque Landscapes trail, meandering out to the stunning Tuki Tuki valley and on to the coastal Haumoana and Clifton trails. With an array of wineries, cafes and coffee carts dotted along the way, you can refuel with a snack or stop for lunch and a winery tour. You can also venture a little further to Napier or to the Bridge Pa Wineries ride. Expect to ride about 30-45kms to complete the Landscapes Ride.

We hire out modern, comfortable electric and non-electric pathway bikes, childrens bikes, full-suspension mountain bikes (MTB tracks only) and drop-bar road bikes for the fitness enthusiasts.

Our hire hours are between 9-5pm Monday – Saturday only (sorry we are not offering day hire on Sundays for 2022/2023 season to give our staff a day off).

We can organise to drop-off and collect bikes from your accommodation (subject to availability, delivery fees apply)

NON-ELECTRIC PATHWAY BIKES
$40 per day

ELECTRIC PATHWAY BIKES (R18 ONLY)
$80 per day | $65 up to 4-hours

FULL SUSPENSION MTB (NON-ELECTRIC) R18 ONLY
$120 per day | $90 4-hours | $60 2-hours (Te Mata Peak only)

ROAD BIKES
$90 per day | $60 up to 4-hours

KIDS BIKES
$30 per day

BABY/CHILD SEAT
$15 with hire per day (rear seat or Dolittle front seat) | $30 on your own bike per day

All pathway bikes come with a helmet, bike lock, spare tube & pump, pathway map and rear carrier bag.

We do not hire pathway or road bikes to under 18yrs old without adult signing waiver and actively supervising

MTB’s and eBike’s are strictly for 18yrs+

NO EVENT HIRE – sorry we do not hire out to organise events eg. Spirited Women

MTB come with spd or flat pedals, helmet supplied – please bring your own knee pads etc

Some bikes may require a refundable bond.

Winter hire hours may be reduced due to staffing and weather/darkness in the late afternoon

No hire bikes are to be used on the Havelock North BMX track and other local BMX/pump tracks

Bike Drop Off/Pick up Costs:

Cost per load of up to 8 bikes – Sorry we do not transport passengers, only bikes

Havelock North – $20 each way
Tuki Valley (from Te Mata-Mangateretere Rd to black bridge and red bridge)– $30 each way
Haumoana (as far as the shops) – $50 each way
Te Awanga/Clifton (from Elephant Hill onwards) – $60 each way
Bridge Pa Wineries – $60 each way
Hastings CBD – $40 each way
Puketapu/Taradale – $60 each way
Napier CBD – $60 each way
Bayview/Airport/Eskdale MTB Park – $70 each way
Other areas – POA

Hybrid/Pathway Bikes additional days $35 each
Mountain Bikes additional days $100 each
Electric Bikes additional days $70 each
Road Bikes additional days $80 each
Kids Bikes additional days $25 each

CANCELLATIONS & BAD WEATHER – bookings can be cancelled ahead of the day at no cost if the weather looks unfavorable or you become ill. Group bookings of 6+ require a deposit when booking. In the event of a group cancellation, a percentage of the group deposit may be retained for admin costs.
In the event of persistent rain or bad weather, we reserve the right to cancel bookings at any time, without notice, up to the hire commencement and may also recall hired bikes in sudden weather cirumstances.
